City of San Luis announces holiday office closures and service schedule changes

The City of San Luis announced on Dec. 19 that municipal offices will have adjusted hours and closures during the upcoming winter holidays, with changes also affecting some city services.

These adjustments are intended to help residents plan ahead for the holiday season. According to the announcement, all city offices—except for Public Safety and Public Works On-call services—will close from noon to 6:00 p.m. on both Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, and remain closed all day on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Trash collection schedules will also be modified: Monday and Thursday routes will be serviced on Monday and Wednesday, while Tuesday and Friday routes will continue as usual. Residents needing to make utility payments can do so online at www.xpressbillpay.com, by phone at 855-314-2095 or with a live operator at 800-720-6847, or by using the self-service kiosk outside City Hall. Payments made by check or money order can be left in the drop box outside City Hall, with all payments posted on the next business day.

For water or sewer emergencies during this period, residents are advised to contact the Police Department Communications Division at (928) 341-2420.
