City of San Luis announces office closures and service adjustments for Columbus Day

City of San Luis offices will be closed on October 13, 2025, in observance of Columbus Day. Normal business operations are set to resume on Tuesday, October 14.

During the holiday, emergency services will continue as usual. The city has announced changes to residential trash collection schedules for the week. Households with regular pickups on Monday and Thursday will have their trash collected on Tuesday and Thursday instead. For those with Tuesday and Friday pickups, collections will occur on Wednesday and Friday.

The Community Cleanup initiative’s third week is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 14, following the holiday closure.

Residents who need to make utility payments during this period have several options available: online at www.xpressbillpay.com, over the phone at 855-314-2095, through a live operator at 800-720-6847, using the self-service kiosk outside City Hall, or by placing checks or money orders in the drop box outside City Hall. All payments made during the closure will be processed on the next business day.

For water or sewer emergencies during this time, residents are advised to contact the Police Department Communications Division at (928) 341-2420.
