The City of San Luis announced on June 27 that its offices will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day, with regular business hours resuming on Monday, July 7. Emergency services will remain available during the closure.

The city said that changes to residential trash collection will occur during the holiday period. Residents whose trash is normally collected on Monday and Thursday will have their service moved to Monday and Wednesday, while those with Tuesday and Friday routes will see collection on Tuesday and Thursday instead.

Utility payments can still be made online at www.xpressbillpay.com, over the phone at 855-314-2095, with a live operator at 800-720-6847, through the self-service kiosk outside City Hall, or by using the drop box for checks or money orders. All payments received during this period will be posted the following business day. For water or sewer emergencies, residents are advised to contact the Police Department Communications Division at (928) 341-2420.
