City of San Luis announces office closures for Memorial Day observance

The City of San Luis announced on May 20 that its offices will be closed on May 26 in observance of Memorial Day, with regular business hours resuming on Tuesday, May 27. Emergency services will remain available during the holiday.

The closure affects city operations and alters the residential trash collection schedule. Residents whose trash is normally collected on Monday and Thursday will have service on Tuesday and Thursday for the holiday week. Those with Tuesday and Friday routes will have their trash picked up on Wednesday and Friday.

Utility payments can still be made online at www.xpressbillpay.com, over the phone at 855-314-2095, through a live operator at 800-720-6847, via the self-service kiosk outside City Hall, or by using the drop box for checks or money orders outside City Hall. All payments received during this period will be posted the following business day. For water or sewer emergencies, residents are advised to contact the Police Department Communications Division at (928) 341-2420.
