The City of San Luis announced on May 15 the launch of a new Yard Sale Locator, an online tool designed to help residents find local yard sales more easily. The interactive map, introduced by the Billing and Collections Division, allows users to browse upcoming yard sales by location and date through the city’s website at Sanluisaz.gov/YSL.
The initiative aims to make it simpler for community members to participate in and benefit from local yard sales. The city said the tool is intended to bring convenience and accessibility to a popular weekend activity.
“With our new Yard Sale Locator, we wanted to bring a modern convenience to a classic weekend activity,” said Edgar Esparza, Billing and Collections Manager. “Our goal is to make the process seamless, fun, and accessible from any device,” he added.
The list of available yard sales will be updated every Thursday before 10:00 a.m., according to the announcement. Residents holding a yard sale within city limits are required to obtain a free permit, which can be secured online or at San Luis City Hall during business hours. More information about permits and the locator is available on the city’s official website.
