The City of San Luis announced on Dec. 15 the launch of its new OpenGov eProcurement Portal, an online system designed to improve how the city publishes and receives responses from vendors and suppliers.

The introduction of this portal is intended to modernize procurement operations, making it easier for vendors to access bid opportunities and submit proposals electronically. The city said the platform will serve as a central hub for all bid postings, aiming to increase transparency and efficiency in its procurement process.

Through the OpenGov portal, vendors can register at no cost, receive automatic notifications about future opportunities, follow solicitations for updates, submit questions directly through the system, and navigate guided steps for submitting bids or proposals. The city emphasized that all procurement documents will be available in one location and that registered vendors may download solicitation materials without charge.

Roula Encinas, Director of Finance for the City of San Luis, said: “The City of San Luis is committed to improving transparency and efficiency in our procurement processes. Our new OpenGov eProcurement platform makes it easier than ever for vendors to stay informed and submit proposals electronically, ensuring fair and timely access to City contracts.”

Vendors can access the new bidding platform at sanluisaz.gov/bids. There are detailed guidelines available on the OpenGov Help Page to assist with registration and notification preferences.
