Residents and businesses in San Luis, Arizona have been warned about a fraudulent email that is circulating and falsely claims to be from the City of San Luis. The email requests payment from recipients.

According to city officials, the suspicious message did not originate from the City of San Luis. Community members are being advised not to click on any links, download attachments, or provide personal or financial information in response to the email.

“If you receive this email: Do not reply or send any money. Report suspicious emails to the San Luis Police Department at (928) 341-2420,” stated city officials.

The City emphasized its commitment to cybersecurity and encouraged residents to remain cautious when handling unsolicited emails. “The City of San Luis takes cybersecurity seriously and reminds the public to remain cautious when handling unsolicited emails. Thank you for helping us protect our community by staying alert and informed.”
