On Saturday, March 14, St. Edward’s Hilltoppers, featuring former Gila Ridge High School standout Jamison Kay, defeated the Western New Mexico Mustangs 83-71 in their NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament game.
The matchup began at 7:30 p.m. at Kenneth E. Burg Center and marked the first tournament meeting with the Western New Mexico Mustangs.
St. Edward’s Hilltoppers are scheduled to play their next tournament game at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, again at Kenneth E. Burg Center.
