Rep. John Gillette, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent District 30, has posted a series of critical statements on social media targeting the Democratic Party and its supporters.

On September 14, 2025, Gillette wrote: “Democrat Party, calls Trump and his 75m+ supporters: Nazi Fascist Dictator Radical Christians Compared MAGA to Hitler. Democrats, openly support Hamas, Iran, and condemn Israel, and you blame Trump for dividing the country. Your Pathetic tone deaf words… tell us who you”.

Later that same day, he posted another message stating: “Just like I said! Savages! https://t.co/9tOcCVuviQ”.

On September 16, 2025, Gillette continued his criticism by posting: “The left calls for Republicans to tone down the violence. Typical hypocrites, 10+ years of threats and calling us Nazi.. this is their leadership narrative. Attack and violence. They support terrorists and illegals. Zero solutions, zero credibility. IRRELEVANT, vote them out! https://t.co/S8Xy0GDOg0”.

Gillette assumed office after winning election in Arizona’s LD30 during the 2022 cycle and replaced former representative Christian Solorio.
