Rep. John Gillette, a Republican elected in 2023 to represent Arizona’s 30th House District, has posted a series of tweets on his official account addressing recent incidents and political issues.

On August 6, 2025, Gillette commented on an incident at Fort Stewart, Georgia: “Ft. Stewart GA. Home of 3ID, this POG shot 5 fellow Soldiers. We pray for their recovery and his swift punishment. I bet CNN will claim this is a white female with PTSD… although no deployments https://t.co/DrBKnaWFnE”.

Three days later, on August 9, 2025, he criticized Democratic health care policies: “This is what democrats call heath care. Trump saved it for Americans by stopping this crap and removing illegals and able bodied scam artists. https://t.co/NwhNeG7Iug https://t.co/egM2RnfpLi”.

Later that same day, Gillette made another post targeting the Democratic Party: “This is what the democrats stand for , child mutilation. Democrats hate America. https://t.co/h0PROYvEFW”.

Gillette assumed office after winning election to the Arizona State House in 2023, succeeding Christian Solorio as representative of District 30.
