Rep. John Gillette, a Republican member of the Arizona House representing District 30 since 2023, has recently posted several statements on his social media account addressing issues related to law enforcement, immigration, and legislative procedure.
On February 3, 2026, Gillette wrote: “More proof the Democrats support violence againt law enforcement. Calls ICE ‘masked hooligans.’ He took an oath to support and defend.. sedition and treason come to mind.. what if a citizen feared a woman in a full burka?”
The following day, he urged for immediate legislative action by stating: “Kill the filibuster and pass this now. Then pass the Census bill to count citizens only. Do it now or resign, tell Mitch to FO, do the right thing.” This post was made on February 4, 2026.
Later that same day, Gillette commented on student protests in schools with another post: “Kids can’t learn or eat when schools allow them to protest law enforcement and ICE.”
Gillette began serving in the Arizona State House after being elected in 2023 for District 30, succeeding Christian Solorio. His recent statements reflect ongoing debates over immigration enforcement and legislative priorities within both Arizona and national politics.
