Arizona Western College announced on April 1 that registration is now open for the 2026 Chapman Automotive Summer Basketball Camp, scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 4. The camp invites boys and girls in kindergarten through twelfth grade to participate in a four-day program led by the Matadors coaching staff.

The camp aims to teach participants key basketball skills, including footwork, ball handling, shooting form, defense, and rebounding. Organizers say the sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon each day at the Gymnasium of the Arizona Western College Yuma Campus located at 2020 S. Ave. 8E.

The cost for early registration is $125 if completed by May 28. Students can also register at the door on June 1 for $150 using cash or check. Due to limited availability, pre-registration is encouraged. Online pre-registration forms are available and payment can be made either by phone or at the AWC Cashier’s Desk in the college’s main building using cash, check, or credit card.

Participants are asked to wear basketball attire such as T-shirts, athletic shorts, and tennis or basketball shoes during camp sessions. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt as part of their registration.

For additional information about registration or program details, interested families can contact Head Men’s Basketball Coach Kyle Isaacs via email at kyle.isaacs@azwestern.edu or by calling (928) 344-7643.
