Rep. John Gillette, a Republican representing Arizona’s 30th House District, posted a series of statements on social media addressing recent events involving Charlie Kirk and reactions in American cities.

On September 11, 2025, Gillette wrote: “POI in the Assignation of Charlie Kirk.”

Later that day, on September 12, he commented on public order and political responses: “Not one American city was set ablaze or erupted in riots. We are the party of law and order. If that were an illegal, leftist, gang member… it would have been another Anifa, BLM, Soros funded shit show. Our restraint speaks for itself.”

In a subsequent post early on September 12, Gillette added: “No surprise.”

John Gillette was elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 30th House District, succeeding Christian Solorio.
