Rep. John Gillette, a Republican elected in 2023 to represent Arizona’s 30th House District, posted a series of statements on social media on September 18, 2025, addressing his recent comments and ongoing political tensions within the Arizona legislature.

In one post from September 18, Gillette wrote: “I called them ‘ F- ing Savages’ and AZ Democrat House minority leaders wanted me punished. They support this.. not a shock coming from public school teachers. Their union leader nut job, yesterday called Maga- Fascists… but want us to be silenced.”

Later that day, he shared another message encouraging followers to subscribe to an account named Randúlfr Robertsson: “Subscribe to Randúlfr Robertsson https://t.co/SjkEeFzOvU”.

In a subsequent post on the same date, Gillette commented on protests in schools and criticized what he described as politically motivated disruptions: “I will leave the obvious ‘skip lunch’ remark alone. Here, you see a liberal paid democrat influence peddling the message of, ‘causing disruption in government schools to protest a decision they dont like.’ Stalin would be pleased with the tactic. Just leave the kids alone.”

Gillette succeeded Christian Solorio as representative for Arizona’s 30th House District after winning election in 2023.
