Rep. John Gillette criticizes Democrats and CAIR in September 2025 social media posts

Rep. John Gillette, a Republican representing Arizona’s 30th House District since 2023, posted a series of tweets in September 2025 criticizing media coverage, Democratic leaders, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

On September 16, Gillette wrote: “I was told by legacy media that this wasn’t happening. Told my words were ‘VIle’. The left calls speech thay hate, ‘Hate speech’. The left uses propaganda while the enemy is in the gate, they deny America is under attack.”

Two days later, on September 18, he posted: “CAIR is a known front group for the Muslim Brotherhood. Yet Hobbs and House Democrat leaders stand firm in support.”

Later that same day, Gillette tweeted: “They are part of the caliphate, preparing for jihad. Time to send them all back to their shit hole. Send in ICE and the Guard now, before they attack.”

Gillette began serving in the Arizona State House after being elected in 2023 to represent District 30, succeeding Christian Solorio.
