Rep. John Gillette, a Republican representing Arizona’s 30th House District since 2023, has used his social media platform to make several claims regarding legislation and the treatment of veterans in recent days.

On March 18, Gillette posted on his Twitter account: “Again with 100% lies… note#3 in the Bill… read it all here. Flat out lies… traitor, picks illegals over citizens.” The post included links to documents and referenced a bill he alleges is being misrepresented.

The following day, March 19, he addressed the issue of veteran suicides: “24 American Citizen Veterans die per day by suicide… that is a crisis. You have done nothing but support illegals.”

On March 20, Gillette wrote about information he received from supporters: “I was told by a few supporters that they were told by leftist disruptors…. this wasn’t true. I confirm IT IS!”

Gillette began serving in the Arizona State House after being elected in 2023 to represent District 30, succeeding Christian Solorio.
