Rep. John Gillette, a Republican member of the Arizona House representing District 30 since 2023, has recently used his social media platform to voice concerns over proposed statewide 5G connectivity and other political issues.

On February 19, 2026, Gillette posted: “Establishing this system in a full statewide 5G connectivity with a vendor tied to the SOS and all 5G devices is just a preemptive movement to push vote by text or email… that’s a hard NO. Voter fraud on steroids and meth.. China and Iran will be voting from phone banks!” He expressed strong opposition to the idea of integrating voting systems with advanced wireless technology, suggesting it could open avenues for foreign interference.

Later that day, on February 19, he posted another message stating: “100% Correct”. The post appears to endorse another statement or position without further elaboration.

On February 20, Gillette commented on Governor Katie Hobbs’ State of the State address: “I sat through the Hobbs nonsensical State of the State. Not because I care what she had to say, because the people elected me to represent them, by blocking her dumb ideas and working to get what we could done. Not by being a spoiled brat. You are the prime reason we should”. In this post, he criticized Governor Hobbs’ proposals and emphasized his role as an elected representative tasked with opposing policies he views as unfavorable.

Gillette was elected in 2023 to represent Arizona’s 30th House District after succeeding Christian Solorio.
