Rep. John Gillette, a Republican representing Arizona’s 30th House District since 2023, recently addressed issues ranging from election certification to Social Security and campaign finance in a series of posts on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

On August 12, 2025, Gillette raised concerns about voting system certification in Arizona, stating: “Under HAVA only labs accredited by the EAC using NIST standard can certify voting systems. AZ DHS doesn’t direct this as part of their implementation plan. Therefore ‘can’t be certified’ violation of 52 USC 21081 and 18 USC 595-597. I made several references to this issue in https://t.co/7onDt10ClW”.

Two days later, on August 14, he commented on recent removals from Social Security rolls: “275K illegals removed from Social Security. People 120-160 years old recipients of checks removed. Remember when Biden said this wasn’t happening…. OIG and DOGE proved it. TRUMP fixed it. https://t.co/SvLOa9xrRR”.

Later that same day, Gillette posted about an unnamed individual’s reaction to law enforcement and alleged campaign ties: “She has a meltdown that the law was enforced. This member of the Cuban Communists party also took campaign money from the CCP… this is the Democrat party. https://t.co/9KPgS6wUew https://t.co/PNcAuFGmPg”.

Gillette succeeded Christian Solorio after winning election to the Arizona State House in 2023 for District 30.
