Rep. John Gillette, a Republican representing Arizona’s 30th House District since 2023, has recently made several statements on social media addressing issues related to foreign policy, education funding, and political rallies.

On March 28, 2026, Gillette questioned U.S. policies regarding international students and financial ties with China, writing: “Why do we keep funding and training our enemies? Buy American, remove Chinese students from universities. Stop taking PRC money.”

Later the same day, he commented on state education budgets: “The budget totals, prove education spending increases yearly….. the schools rarely spend their entire yearly appropriation and carry fwd millions yearly.”

On March 30, 2026, Gillette addressed the financing of political events: “Remember the rally for Trump was unfunded. NO Kings was George Soros funded..$ 3 Billion in claimed revenue..”

Gillette began serving in the Arizona State House after his election in 2023, succeeding Christian Solorio as representative for District 30.
