Rep. John Gillette, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 representing District 30, has used his social media platform to comment on issues ranging from cybersecurity threats to immigration enforcement.
On February 9, 2026, Gillette posted concerns about security vulnerabilities affecting government systems and non-governmental organizations: “Told ya so… they have focused on Pakistan, I suspect its a floating IP via onion, and multiple points from around the globe have infiltrated DMVs -MVD and NGOs across the nation.”
The following day, he addressed recent system maintenance: “They just took the system down over the weekend for ‘scheduled maintenance’. We did a press release… with the new date. Time for change!” This statement suggested dissatisfaction with how system updates or potential responses to cyber threats were being managed.
On February 11, Gillette turned his attention to local leadership’s response to immigration issues. He wrote: “Mayor Gallego is concerned about immigration enforcement. Try to care about Americans and the oath you swore. These people were killed by illegals…. not a word from you.”
Gillette assumed office after replacing Christian Solorio as representative of Arizona’s 30th House District in 2023.
