Rep. John Gillette, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing District 30 since 2023, posted a series of tweets on September 10 and 11, 2025, addressing the assassination of Charlie Kirk and expressing condolences to Kirk’s family.
In a tweet dated September 10, Gillette wrote: “Dear Kirk Family,
I want to extend our deepest condolences to you during this devastating time. Charlie was more than just a presence,he was a loud and unwavering voice of truth, tirelessly championing what was right with remarkable courage and clarity.

Shortly after, on the same day, he commented: “This is the evil we are up against. https://t.co/55HJSbTQ2I”.
On September 11, Gillette further stated: “The leftist woke up the masses of law-abiding conservatives, with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. It may just be the ultimate FAFO. https://t.co/svEMww3AzE”.
Gillette began serving in the Arizona State House in 2023 after succeeding Christian Solorio as representative for District 30.
