The City of San Luis Parks and Recreation Department announced on Dec. 12 a $5,000 contribution from the Campesinos Sin Fronteras (CSF) 2THRIVE Youth Program to support recreation programs, community activities, and park enhancement projects for residents.
This funding is intended to help expand recreational services and strengthen programs that bring families together. The department has partnered with CSF for over five years, hosting the 2THRIVE Summer Youth Leadership Institute at the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center. This collaboration aims to empower young people as leaders in their schools and neighborhoods.
