Thrive Real Estate Group announced on May 23 plans to redevelop the Del Sol Building at 670 N Main Street in San Luis into a second Goodwill store. The project, revealed during the International Council of Shopping Centers Conference in Las Vegas, is expected to create 40 new jobs and bring significant investment to the area.

Construction and remodeling are scheduled to begin in summer 2025, with the store anticipated to open in 2026.
Armando Esparza, Director of Economic Development and Government and Foreign Affairs, said, “We are thrilled to welcome a second Goodwill location in our city. This project is just another step forward for revitalizing our Main Street corridor.”
Council member Luis Cabrera also commented on the development: “We are excited to continue to see increased commercial activity on Main Street. We thank Thrive Real Estate group for their continued presence and growth in San Luis.”
