The City of Yuma will hold a roundtable on Thursday, July 23, for local businesses interested in building a working relationship with the city.
According to a news release from the city, the roundtable discussion will be held via Zoom, with city officials and some limited in-person attendance options at One City Plaza in Yuma. The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. and is expected to go until 6 p.m.
Zoom meeting invitations can be secured by emailing purchasingweb@yumaAZ.gov.
The schedule of topics includes an overview of the city’s procurement process, information on where and how to find opportunities for bidding to do work for the city, and requirements for solicitations submitted to the city.
The roundtable discussion is also expected to touch on ways to make the process of doing business with the city more accessible.
Those wishing to request to attend the roundtable in person due to circumstances making Zoom participation impossible are asked to submit a request to purchasingweb@yumaaz.gov.
