ROOSEVELT SCHOOL: Message from the Roosevelt School District No. 66 Superintendent

Hs 09

Roosevelt School recently issued the following announcement.

Hello Roosevelt Community,

As of June 29, 2020, Governor Ducey issued an Executive Order to delay the in-person start of the 2020-2021 school year until Monday, Aug. 17th, 2020.  While Arizona schools will not be able to offer an in-person option before the date approved by the State, Roosevelt will begin to offer distance learning opportunities on August 3rd, 2020 to ensure that our students receive the academic, social and emotional, and additional resources that they need to be healthy and successful.

We are eager for our staff, students and families to reconnect and our primary goal is to re-introduce all of our students and staff to a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment, whether in person or remotely during the 2020-2021 school year.

Our district staff and Return to School Task Force will continue working diligently during this next month to adjust and refine plans, as necessary, in response to this Executive Order and the ever-changing circumstances caused by this pandemic.  We are committed to providing our families, staff, and community with timely communication as we prepare to launch the 2020-2021 school year.

In the interim, please check this web page and the Roosevelt School District social media pages for the latest updates.

Thank you for your continued support as we navigate these times together.
