CITY OF MESA: Register for Parks and Recreation Fall Programs

City of Mesa issued the following announcement on July 12.

Lead Registration is underway for Mesa residents for Parks and Recreation's fall season. Programs and activities are offered for all ages. More details at www.mesaparks.com

Despite our triple digit temperatures, fall is not that far way, and Mesa’s recreation programs and classes are the perfect way to keep families active and having fun. Registration is underway for Mesa residents for the 2021 fall season. Programs and activities are offered for all ages and include adult sports, youth sports, adaptive programs, tennis lessons and leagues, pickleball lessons, water exercises, school break camps, enrichment classes such as dance, yoga, karate and more! Non-Residents can begin registering on Monday, July 19 at 8 a.m.

The goal of Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities is to keep kids and adults active while following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. Masks are optional at all City facilities currently open to the public, including recreation centers.

Customer Service staff are also available to assist in the registration process at 480-644-PLAY (7529). The Mesa Parks and Recreation seasonal Jump In Activity Guide including the selection of available classes, leagues, programs and activities is available online.

Fee assistance is also available for Mesa residents. To qualify, residents must send in or drop off the Fee Assistance form, along with copies of a current Eligibility Notification Letter from Mesa Public Schools Food Service Department Free or Reduced Lunch Program. They can also submit a copy of unemployment verification, nutrition assistance verification, WIC Assistance verification or AHCCCS verification.
