Mohave Community College issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.
The start of the fall semester is steadily approaching, which means students will be back on campus. Mohave Community College – Lake Havasu campus’ Student Activities Council (SAC) is hosting Welcome Back Bash during the week of August 27 – September 3.
Students will have the chance to meet many of the Lake Havasu staff, faculty and other students. Attendees will get to learn about their campus resources and learn about different student organizations.
“We want to build community and see everyone on campus, so we planned many activities all week during different times of the day. We want everyone to participate and feel welcome staff, faculty and us, students,” said SAC Vice President Michael Adams.
Welcome Back Bash Week will be kicked off with MCC’s 50th signature event, Hot Havasu Nights, which will consist of live music, food, dancing and a salsa recipe competition.
