Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Yuma County UPDATES as of October 15, 2021

County of Yuma issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.

Yuma County Health Officials confirm 26 new cases of COVID-19 and 0 new deaths, bringing the total cases to 41,144 and total deaths to 897. Health officials are conducting contact investigations.

Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself, your family, and your community against COVID-19. Vaccines are effective in preventing severe illness, hospitalization, and death; they also help reduce the spread of the virus in our community.

The Health District is providing COVID-19 vaccine clinics Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm throughout the month of October. Walk-ins are welcome. Only Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.
