Town of Parker issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
In a special meeting the Town Council voted to place Lori Wedemeyer, Town Manager, on paid administrative leave pending ongoing investigations by the Yuma County Sheriff's Office and the Office of the Auditor General. Until the appointment of an interim manager, Amy Putnam, Town Clerk, will be serving in an acting capacity until a formal appointment can be made at the next regular meeting.
The Town is fully cooperating with the Yuma County Sheriff's Office and has no other information to share about the pending investigation.
