Yuma County issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
PLEASE NOTE: Starting in March, the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) will change to weekly updates to the ADHS COVID-19 Data Dashboard. As a result, data on the dashboard will update each Wednesday starting March 2.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 25 will be the last Yuma County DAILY UPDATE, due to this ADHS change. We are currently working on changes to our COVID-19 reporting, and will provide new information later this week.
Yuma County Health Officials confirm 22 new cases of COVID-19 and *4 new deaths, bringing the total cases to 62,005 and total deaths to 1,126. Health officials are conducting contact investigations.
*NOTE: Based on the ADHS/County Vital Records Surveillance Information, reported deaths occurred as described below:

The Health District is providing COVID-19 vaccine clinics Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Walk-Ins are now welcome, and you can still schedule an appointment at (928) 317-4550.
NOTE: The Yuma County Public Health Services District is now offering the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine, authorized for children and adolescents ages 5-11.
The Moderna vaccine currently can be given to anyone age 18 and over. More information can be found on the CDC's website.

COVID-19 Booster Update:
Yuma County Public Health Services District is offering COVID-19 Booster Vaccines for anyone eligible. Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are available. Walk-Ins are now welcome, and you can still schedule an appointment at (928) 317-4550.
NOTE: Local pharmacies, primary care physicians and clinics like Sunset Health and Regional Center for Border Health also have vaccines for boosters
