Each year during EMS Week, the Public Safety Communications Center identifies one Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) for recognition of their outstanding performance. This year the Yuma Fire Department was asked to celebrate "all" 911 EMD dispatchers for the work they have been doing this past year. With the decrease in their staff, all dispatchers have been working longer hours and more days throughout this year. All of the dispatchers are greatly appreciated for their sacrifices, and excellent service to the community. Thank you for all that you do!
