The 2022-2023 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine will be available at the Yuma County Public Health Services District, 2200 W. 28th Street, Yuma, Az., starting September 6th. Seasonal flu vaccinations are available for all individuals 6 months of age and older. The cost is $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for individuals 18 years and younger. Medicare Part B, AHCCCS and Private Insurance are accepted upon presentation of card.
The 2022-2023 influenza vaccine that Yuma County Public Health Services District is offering is made to protect against the following four viruses:
• an A/Victoria/2570/2019 (H1N1) pdm09-like virus;
• an A/Darwin/9/2021 (H3N2)-like virus (updated);
• a B/Austria/1359417/2021-like virus (B/Victoria lineage) (updated);
• a B/Phuket/3073/2013-like virus (B/Yamagata lineage)
