Arizona Western College Matadors men's soccer goalkeeper Atsuki Sato has been named Chapman Automotive Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 2-8.
The sophomore goalkeeper made seven total saves and recorded a shutout in a pair of starts for the Matadors last week. Sato stopped six shots in a 2-1 overtime loss at Yavapai on October 5th.
Sato shutout Scottsdale in a Matadors 3-0 win over the Fighting Artichokes just three days later, recording his fourth shutout of the season.
