Continuing the celebration of Cities and Towns Week with the Public Works Department!
The Public Works Department oversees much of the infrastructure that keeps Somerton running. Public works department crews maintain and improve Somerton's public works infrastructure, from roads and alleys to sewer and stormwater management.
The department consists of 5 divisions, whose responsibilities include but are not limited to repairing our roads, maintaining city buildings and vehicles, installing traffic devices, and picking up the city refuse.
