The Yuma County Sheriff's Office encourages all who operate ATV's & UTV's, to do so safely and responsibly.
OHV Required Equipment:
-Head and Tail Lights
-Muffler
-Spark Arrester
-Rear View Mirror
-Brake Light
-Seat and Footrests for Operator and Passengers
Rider Safety/Equipment:
-Helmets for all Children under 18 Years of Age
-Fasten Seatbelts
-Eye Protection
Prohibited:
-Operation that damages the habitat
-Alcohol, Open Container
-Operation w/ Reckless Regard of Persons & Property
-Operation Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs
-Aid in taking of Wildlife
**Decal permits are not transferable between vehicles
**Not authorized to operate on roadways unless properly registered w/AZDOT
