There were 2,751 Latino students enrolled in Somerton Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.1% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Somerton Elementary District welcomed 2,867 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Latino students comprised 96% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Somerton Elementary District roughly covers schools within Yuma County and has a main office in Somerton.

Among the six schools in Somerton Elementary District, Tierra Del Sol Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Latino students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 696 students.
