There were 11 white students enrolled in Wenden Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 21.4% less than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Wenden Elementary District welcomed 80 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 13.8% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Wenden Elementary District roughly covers schools within La Paz County and has a main office in Wenden.

Wenden Elementary School was the only school in the district which enrolled white students, welcoming 11 students in the 2022-23 school year.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.
