Twelve local businesses selected for San Luis’ second Fuerza Local Business Accelerator cohort

The City of San Luis Economic Development Department announced on Aug. 5 the selection of twelve local businesses for the second cohort of the Fuerza Local Business Accelerator Program, in partnership with Local First Arizona.

The program aims to support Spanish-speaking business owners by providing them with training and resources to help their businesses grow. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the city to foster entrepreneurship and economic development in the community.

The selected businesses include Picazo Arte y Pintura, Unique’s Boutique, Imperio Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, The Friendly Bean Cafe, Ady’s Reposteria, La Milpa Dorada, Todos Sabores, Pizano Bridal Tocados y Tiaras, Luna & Co., Jesmay Beauty, Frog’s Cake, and Legal Documentation Preparation. Over a period of seventeen weeks starting August 5, participants will receive training in areas such as social media marketing, business finances, customer service, human resources, and employee relations.

Local First Arizona operates the Fuerza Local Business Accelerator across several regions in the state. The organization focuses on inclusive community and economic development throughout Arizona.
