On Wednesday April 13, 2022, the Yuma Fire Department received a donation of 4,800 N95 masks from Walmart at 2900 S. Pacific Avenue (Store #1474). Store Lead, Carlos Macias was on hand to present the masks to YFD Firefighter/Paramedic Pat Estrada.

Walmart has been a valued supporter through the difficult times of the last couple of years when supplies from normal sources were at times limited. Normally YFD uses about 200 masks per week but during the height of the pandemic, that number grew to 600 masks or more. Thank you, Mr. Macias and Walmart, for the help you have provided to YFD and the Citizens of Yuma.
